Sorcery is like a drug after the first time I was hooked and haven’t quite stopped since. When you get out of the United State Armed Forces you typically feel as if something is owed to you. You have made this huge sacrifice for your country to include: sanity, family, time, memories and just everyday life. This is not the case, people owe you nothing and we tend to figure that out the hard way. However, there are many people who do appreciate your service and will give you opportunities.
My wife and I found ourselves in Tigard, Oregon when we left Hampton, Virginia after our time of service in the military. We did not have anything planned other than possibly going to school and figuring out a job when we got there. Obviously, we had a nice size savings but there is even a lesson in that, but that’ll be for later. In this plush vibrant green forestry surrounding the metropolitan of Portland, Oregon seemed that all was of a fairytale. There were multiple beautiful waterfalls all in a row of each other. You can just drive down Historic Columbia River Highway off RTE 84 and see them one after the other or get the real majestic feeling by hiking and allowing the cool yet clear and inviting water to flow between your toes as you relax at the bottom of the falls. My wife was finally at peace as the environment was tranquil, the people were the nicest we’ve encountered and the suburbs of Portland were a decent size yet quaint towns to match her new show Once Upon a Time. This fairytale however had one irreversible problem, “Competition.” The area of Portland is widely known for being competitive as it is a nice place as just described and the new stomping ground for Californians as they are fleeing their overpriced homes. Californians not only bringing their fancy degrees but also buying houses in cash inflating the housing market. Needless to say, the native Oregonians were not fans. Soon we learned to not be either as we were now affected by this as well. All the jobs I wanted and would clearly be able to get in Virginia came with too tall of an order in Portland. So, I was stuck doing dirty jobs making just under $20/hr which is a decent wage but not quite where I envisioned myself. My father always believing in me and putting me up on game (intellectually investing) told me I needed to watch the Law of Attraction and that I could watch it on YouTube. I’ve always believed that humans were powerful beings and our emotions and thoughts had power but not until watching the Law of Attraction did I understand the science and sorcery of it all. This movie changed my outlook and my life but at the time I was slightly unsure. I had to give it a test run. Things had not been going my way and I was currently unemployed so this new spark of inspiration was all I could hold on to, plus our savings were dwindling as if it were a fish washed up on shore.
I had to test the strength of my wand I felt that this could not just be some hocus pocus buffoonery but the real deal. I learned that you strengthened your wand by envisioning the results as yours but just further down your linear time line. It’s not a want, you already have it but it’s just further down your time line when you have it. Imagine instead of wanting to get your degree you are of the understanding that the degree is already yours. You have it as long as you believe and work towards it. I know it sounds so simplistic, well it is. People often doubt themselves and tell themselves what they can’t have or don’t deserve. Well, then they will go without and do not deserve it. Only when you believe in the right things will the universe reward you with the right things. If you only focus on the wrong things then the universe realizes you are attracted to those as well and POOF they appear. As our bank account was gasping for air I knew I had to put this to work. I thought of a random but relatively reasonable number and focused on it. “I will find a job making $27/hr, I will find a job making 27/hr,” I chanted to myself. Throughout every day I made the conscious decision to intentionally think of the number 27 and chant it continuously at least 20 times. It’s not hocus pocus as I have mentioned before, I still had to apply to jobs and interview for positions. Remember this sorcery is not one of fairytales but one that was real and needs to be followed up with work and dedication.
I received a phone call one morning from the HR lady from EVRAZ North American Steel, they wanted to interview me for a Journeyman Millwright position I had applied to. Now I was never one to turn down a decent interview but I vaguely remembered applying as I didn’t even know what a Millwright was let alone be a Journeyman in it. So, I prepared myself and went to the interview. I’m usually not nervous for interviews either way but considering I was not in any way qualified for this job made me even more at ease as I just took this as practice and a relative waste of time. When it was time I walked into the all grey room with long cheap WWF (Wrestling) like tables lined up with 7 people as the panel. All of them with nice but devious smiles on their faces as if they were ready to wring me a new one and give me the 3-D through the table. “Welcome to EVRAZ North America, we are glad you are able to join us this evening” said the first person I was sitting directly in front of. With no care in the world I responded, “Thanks for having me and I’m feeling pretty good” as I didn’t think much of my time there. They wasted no time with disqualifying me from the potential job by asking me “So how long have you had your Journeymen License?” I was puzzled as I thought to myself, “Do people even bother to read resumes before they invite them to an interview?” I actually got slightly nervous now realizing these people had no idea what they were in for. I answered them by saying “I do not have a license nor am I an apprentice but I do feel as if I could learn.” They all looked at each other and let me know that they specifically needed a journeyman but would do the interview anyways considering they all took time out of their busy schedules to do so. When the interview was over they all looked at each other again and explained to me that they loved my personality, honesty and that I actually answered the questions better than some previous Millwrights. So, I thanked them for their time and went on with life without even considering the possibility.
Three weeks later I am back in Virginia visiting my dad and applying online to various jobs still having interviews over the phone and in person. Nothing would stop me from getting a decent job I thought to myself. It will come, I just stayed focused on my number, 27! RING RING RING! The phone goes off and my heart feels with joy like a girl winning prom queen as I saw the unfamiliar Portland Oregon number. I knew it had to be a job opportunity as most people who call me are from the East Coast. I answered and the lady said, “Hello is this Ronnie Chandler?” I answered back yes and she continued “Hi this is Melissa from EVRAZ North America and we would like to offer you the Journeyman Millwright position.” I told her yes of course, didn’t know it would work out all things considered but I was unemployed. After she went through her HR jargon she finally popped the big question. It was as if the was on one knee as she asked, “Well we realize you have limited experience but we will still pay you at the bottom of the Journeyman rate, would $27.50/hr work for you?” My heart skipped a beat as I calmly answered with the only two words fitting for this matrimony “I DO.” After we finished on the phone I finally let out my excitement and immediately called my wife, father and best friend Victor to tell them about everything. This was the start of a new life.
I want to explain something very important, I was not overly excited about some random job as my end game is self-employment. Jobs are to be leveraged to fund my dreams. I was excited about that random number I picked out, 27. I was only getting offers just below $20 before I watched the Law of Attraction. Those were the only opportunities that would call me for even an interview. I never saw this as a coincidence but a true testament. People are in apprenticeships for 5 years to get a Journeyman and when a job needs a Journeyman that is not something they waive off because your cute. No this is almost law for these jobs so how could I possibly land this job. Then 50 cents above what I wanted. I didn’t even know the range for the job until she offered me the job. This has led to a lot more manifestations in my life but this was the first one with conscious INTENTION behind it. I have manifested many things from higher paying jobs to a certain amount to getting checks instead of bills in the mail for 2 months. I do warn you though, make sure what you desire will truly bring you and the people around you happiness because the universe doesn’t care about the results of you getting what you manifest only that you ask and you receive. I have recently manifested something that backfired and my family is still digging out of that whole. Next time on DBZ, no, but seriously, I’ll share that story later as it is full of lessons within itself. Watch, read, listen and soak in the different laws of the Universe they do work and choose wisely. The Beyond is yours to shape, mold it well.
Thank you
